Giving envelopes to children is something that is commonly done by older people. Children will be happy when they receive it eventhough the nominal is not how much and will be more memorable if the envelopes that used are unique envelopes.

Funny Envelope from Felt Fabric

Various envelopes of cute character models from this felt material is definitely a favorite of children. Creating a character envelope like this you can do in your spare time as a fun activity.

Besides can be used own, funny and unique character envelope is be able to be used as a profitable business field ahead of Eid. I give them name Bee Envelope

If usually felt envelope that we've seen, the processing is stitched, but this envelope without sewing or just glued it. So the process is obviously easier and simpler but the results are as you see in the picture above. They are funny, aren't they?

Well, here I share how to make Lebaran envelope, unique funny character envelope so you can also make it.

Making bee envelope is very easy and fast. So it is suitable to be a side business. There is no need for large felt fabric to make an envelope. Enough with a piece of felt fabric size 25 cm x 25 cm can produce 10 bee envelopes.

How to Make a Bee Envelope

To make this bee envelope we only need materials and equipment as follows:
1. Felt fabric
2. Puppet eyes
3. Pencil
4. Scissors
5. Glue gun

Step by step Creating Bee Envelope

1. Cut the black felt fabric rectangular pieces with length of 7 cm and 6 cm wide. Cut the black felt fabric into a circle to be the head of the bee. Cut out the yellow felt for the bee wings.

2. Next,  roll the rectangular felt with the help of a pencil. Give glue gun at the edges and then glue it.

3. Cut the yellow felt fabric to be used for the bee's body. After that give glue shot and attach the yellow felt on the bee body and the result looks like in the picture.

4. Remove the scroll of the felt from the pencil. Bee envelope made in tube shape.

5. Next, cut the end of the envelope to form a triangle to make the bee tail part. After that give the glue gun and paste it to close.

6. The next step is to make wings of bees. Cut the yellow felt fabric that had been prepared earlier to form a wing. After that stick the wing on the body of the back envelope.

7. The next step is to make an envelope cap. Create a small circle piece for the envelope cap. Keep the color of the fabric the same as the color of the envelope. After that give glue to the mouth of the envelope. Give glue to the semicircle then attach the lid. Envelopes have lids so the money does not fall easily.

8. The next step is to make a bee head. Paste the bee's antenna, the pair of puppet eyes and the bee's mouth as in the picture.

9. The last, paste the bee's head on the top envelope and done.

4. Next connect the edge of the wrinkle by sewing it. The goal is the sphere is perfectly formed.

5. Well, those are sphere of grapes from the already-formed and ready-made felt fabric.

6. The next step is to string one by one the spheres of grape so that it becomes a clustered grape. Arrange them by sewing and hooking. Pull the thread a little tight and set the grape position. Keep the existing wrinkles inside so that a clustered grape looks natural.

7. Next, make a grape stalk of a brown rectangular-shaped felt fabric color measuring 2 x 8 cm. Roll the felt fabric then sew to give the impression of stem fiber on the grape stalk.

Steps to Make Orchid Flower

1. First, prepare HVS paper or any paper for the flower pattern as shown. There are five petals.

2. Next, apply the pattern to the felt fabric. Cut out the felt fabric according to the pattern. Use different fabric colors for one part of the petal.

3. After that, stack the parts of the orchid crown as in the picture.

4. Continue again to stack with different color petal and then pile again with the smallest petal.

5. The next step, stitch the middle so that the petal of flowers unite. After that pull the thread and sew it on three sides of the flower to make the flower bud then draw the thread again and conclude

6. The next step, cut the green felt fabric for the base of the flower or sepals as shown. Give the glue gun and stick it on the flower.

7. Make some flowers. In this tutorial there are 7 orchid flowers.

8. Time to make a stalk. Cut wire with length 80 cm. After that bend the wire in half. Next pack the wire with newspaper. Make some scrolls to make the stalk so that it's not too small. Make again the stalk the same way so that there are two rods.

9. Next step, wrap the wire rope that has been wrapped in paper with green solation.

10. Next step, make orchid shoots. Cut the felt fabric slightly oval shape. Cut as many as two for one stalk. After that paste on the stalk.

1. Felt fabric
2. Wire
3. Newsprint
4. Green tape
5. Acrylic paint
6. Imitation pistil
7. Needles and threads
8. Scissors
9. Glue gun

Here are pictures and tutorials how to make cherry blossoms complete with its description.

1. Prepare a small wire with a length of 70 cm. Next bend the wire in half. Next wrap the wire with pieces of newsprint wrapped around the spiral. Make three coils. This step is the preparation to make a flower stalk. Once wrapped in a newspaper then the stalk has a length of 35 cm. Create three stalks in the same way.

2. The next step, wrap using the green solation on the wire rod earlier. And the result will look like in the picture.

3. The next step is to cut a white felt fabric to square. Cut as much as 5 for the preparation of making the flower crown. Then, cut the felt fabric to form like a flower crown.

4. Continue with the process of forming flowers. Sew the felt fabric for flower crown. Sew using the baste stitch technique. Sew one by one and connect the crown to form a flower. Pull the thread and conclude. Then prepare the acrylic paint. Paint the crown of the flower by using a brush. If no acrylic paint can be replaced with markers.

5. And that's the result. For the amount of interest can be adjusted with the desire. In this tutorial I make 11 cherry blossoms.

6. After that, prepare imitation pistils. For one flower it needs 2 pairs of imitation pistils. Bend two pistils imitately into two. Next, enter in the middle of the flower. Some time ago, I was asked a schoolgirl about how to make a hat because coincidentally she got a task from her teacher to make a hat from the felt fabric.

Finally I tried making a felt hat. It's model imitates the finished hat. And this is the hat I made from felt fabric.

How? It's nice, isn't it?. You can also make it for yourself or for your beloved daughter. Although in this tutorial the model is a doll, believe me if making the original hat, the easy way like the tutorial that I share. You just adjust the size to the actual hat.

How to Make a Beautiful Hat 

That we need to know before making a hat is hat parts consisting of a crown and a brim. For the model, I make this brim is just in front like a ceremonial hat model.

To make felt hat, prepare the equipment and materials needed are:
1. HVs paper for pattern
2. Felt fabric
3. Needle and thread
4. Scissors
5. Glue gun

1. First, measure first the head circumference to be made hat, eg hat for children or for adults. In this tutorial the hat is made indeed for the doll.

The size of the head circumference is used for the size of crown / crown cap. As for the brim / periphery hat can be adjusted with the desire. In the picture is a felt fabric that is cut into a circle with a diameter of 20 cm.

2. The next step, make the folds like in the picture with the help of a pin needle to form like a bowl. And this is called the crown. For crown size or hat circumference is 32cm

3. Next step, cut the felt fabric into a straight piece. Because the felt used is 25 cm in size then it takes 3 pieces and later must be connected. This step is the process of making hat edges.

4. The next step is to connect the fabric so that the result looks like in the picture. There are two parts to the outside and inside the hat.

5. The next step is to make the brim or the front of the hat. Create a brim pattern or a front hat like in the picture and apply it to felt fabric.

6. And that is the brim made up of 2 pieces of felt. For the size of the brim can be adjusted with the desire.

7. The next step is to sew the brim then turn the cloth and the result looks like in the picture.
